An introduction to skateboarding buddies, Ryan and “Shoes”, and their initial efforts to prove themselves as more than the partying, aimless black sheep of their respective families by taking their love of skateboarding from a hobby to an art and business. Still fun-loving guys and new to the challenges of starting a business, they fall down plenty in pursuit of their goal but they at least know from the rough and tumble lifestyle of skating how to keep getting back up.

 

A young aspiring novelist finally breaks through her writer’s block, inspired by an encounter with local wildlife and a run of strange dreams. But slowly she begins to realize that they weren’t dreams at all and is horrified to meet her own monster within.
